Voters are telling me they are deeply disillusioned and frustrated with the current state of politics, particularly the major parties’ duopoly. People are fed up with politicians serving the interests of major parties and big corporations instead of their communities.
As your independent MP, I will fight for integrity, transparency and accountability in politics including:
- Strengthening the National Anti-Corruption Commission - including pushing for public hearings.
- Stronger protections for whistleblowers.
- Truth in political advertising laws - nobody should be allowed to tell outright lies in political advertising.
- Greater transparency in politics to reduce lobbyists’ power.
